Due to the rapid development of technology we’re seeing more so called “smart devices” with each day. Although we’re still waiting to see a smart remote we’ve got an interesting latest device from Livescribe today.

Livescribe is famous for smart pencils and if you remember, we’ve already seen one interesting pen from this company called Pulse smartpen. Pulse smartpen was shown last year and now we have improved version that is called the Echo smartpen.

According to the developers, Echo smartpen will be available to capture everything that its user hears and writes. Interesting thing about this smartpen is that you’ll navigate through the menus by tapping the your written notes on the paper or on your computer. For example in order to move through the menus you just need to draw a cross and by tapping the edges of your cross you’ll move back and forth to the menus. In addition, Echo smartpen comes with more than 60 apps so you’ll be able to play a piano on a similar way as you navigate through the menus or translate words that way. Besides these amazing functions this pen offers ergonomic design and anti-roll surface. It is using 4 or 8 GB memory that will be more than enough to store 400 or 800 hours of recordings.

Echo smartpen from Livescribe is one amazing device that will leave you speechless. It’s so much more than a ordinary pen and if you want to try it you’ll have to pay $169.96 for 4 GB model and $199.95 for 8 GB model.
