Its just been announced that the Samsung Captivate will arrive to AT&T on July 18. This new phone will be another Android phone that should surely be very popular. It looks to be in direct competition to the iPhone 4, but we don’t know how good it stands up against it. The phone will cost roughly $200 on a contract. AT&T doesn’t offer Android phones very often in the past, so this is quite new for many. Here are the specs on the phone:
- Android 2.1
- 1GHz Cortex A8 processor
- Super AMOLED 4-inch touchscreen display
- 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording
- Integrated social networking tools
- 16GB on-board memory
- Expandable memory up to 32GB
So if your interested in purchasing this phone it’ll be available for all AT&T users on July 18, that is ten days away from the launch of this new Android phone. Surely some reviews will come out for others to view before they decide to purchase. There is a lot of hype for this phone, but we may wonder if it’ll live up to all this hype.
