Latest concept: iPad Cam-Case

On July 9, 2010, in Laptops / Computers, by Mike Jefferson

You’ll have to agree that the iPad is one amazing device that has all sorts of interesting features to offer – great iOS, multi-touchscreen display and amazing design to name a few. Speaking of design there’s one thing that the iPad lacks.

iPad might be amazing in every way but it has a single flaw, it doesn’t come with a camera. The iPad could probably be even better if it had a camera. Chet Rosales thought so too, therefore he has designed special iPad case that has a built in camera. Mr. Rosales has designed a protective iPad Cam-Case that comes with built in camera and microphone. As mentioned before, iPad might be one amazing device but it lacks video chat features.

With iPad Cam-Case all iPad users will be able to enjoy video chat on their iPad to the fullest. Interesting thing is that you can rotate your camera as you wish in order to get the best angle while you’re video chatting. Camera is located in the corner so it works great for landscape or portrait viewing. As for the case itself, iPad Cam-Case is made of plastic and rubber so it will perfectly in your hand while video chatting.

Overall, iPad Cam-Case looks interesting enough but so far it’s only a concept. Who knows, maybe one day Apple will accept this new design and use it for the new version of iPad?

I also think that Apple will correct all the flaws in the next iteration of iPad, but I like this cam-case concept. It could provide very nice experience I guess.
