Just a few days ago, Mercedes-Benz released the initial photos and information on their brand new 2011 CL-Class, showing off its updated luxury coupe. The main attraction in the new 2011 CL is a new twin-turbo 4.6-liter V8 producing 429 horsepower and 516 pound-feet torque in the CL550 model.
The CL600 pictured by Autoblog boasts an even greater 510 horsepower, 612 lb-ft torque twin-turbo V12 (and believe me, MB certainly have plenty reminders of this within the car itself!).
In terms of tech, upgrades to the CL include new safety technologies including Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Adaptive High Beam Assist, Night View Assist and more. The fancy Mercedes-Benz COMAND system comes standard, featuring USB and SD card interfaces mated to a 7.2 GB hard drive.
