Many great devices have been shown at this year’s Computex from laptops and tablets to cellphones. When it comes to MSI, MSI introduced a brand new series of laptops at this year’s Computex and they all come from the F series.
MSI were rather busy as they introduced five different models from the F series: FX400, FX600, FX610, FX700, and FR600. MSI F series comes with a wide range of screen sizes from 14 to 17 inches. Models FX400, FX600, FX700, and FR600 are powered with Intel Core i5 processor that uses Intel Turbo Boost and Intel® Hyper-Threading technology so you can achieve maximum performance. Unlike other models from the F series, The FX610 is using AMD Danube Champlian with three cores.
Models from F series are coming with nVIDIA GeForce GT 325M card that has 1GB GDDR3. Interesting thing about F series is that is using GPU Boost technology so it will save your power. For example, if you’re not using your laptop for multimedia GPU Boost automatically switches to the integrated graphics in order to save your battery. Interesting thing about F series is that it comes with ECO engine power saving technology that gives you twice the battery life. In addition, ECO engine power saving technology has five different modes through which you can toggle easily in order to save your battery.
Models from F series come with two DDR 3 memory slots and they offer 250GB to 500GB storage space. All models have HDMI port included, so we can just say, great job by MSI.
One interesting thing is that the F series is the ECO engine technology savings, which gives you twice the battery life. Furthermore, the engine technology of energy saving ECO has five modes, allowing you to easily switch to save battery life.
