With the development of cell phones more people tend to use them in their home instead of landline phones. These phones have everything that a user requires, slim design with internet connection and a lot of applications available. Have landline phones therefore fallen out of favour? According to this concept it’s not over yet and landline phones are going to strike back with a new and improved futuristic design.

Have you asked yourself, why are people not using landline phones? First of all, they are ugly, they have wires, they are not mobile and they don’t look smooth and small as the latest cell phones do. Well, this idea is going to change that, if it becomes real one day. This device is intended to replace ordinary landline phones and to provide you modern and futuristic design that you require. Of course, it’s not all about the looks so this device will offer a lot more.

It is called WIPI Phone, designed by Ku Bon-Seop and it is supposed to be a mixture of touchscreen laptop and a landline phone. It has a special stand so it looks like a laptop, but it works like a ordinary phone. Just add the touchscreen support, smooth design and video call option and you’ll get a interesting and quite futuristic device. It really looks like something that could be only seen in movies but we’re hoping that WIPI Phone will come to life one day.
