We’ve got a special contest this time, as the way you enter this contest has been slightly altered in comparison to previous ones, so do read about it in the section below. We’re giving away a brand new Flip Mino HD camcorder, its the second generation of this fantastic camcorder. Many of you will have seen or know someone who has a Flip already, these are very handy and portable machines. The latest Flip Mino HD has also claimed the world’s slickest HD camcorder title!
Some of the major features of the Flip Mino HD include a built-in memory of 8GB (approximately two hours of video recording), its got a two inch TFT display, videos are recorded at 30 FPS and as H.264 video compression, AAC audio compression and saves as MP4 file. It also boasts HDMI, and internal battery which is charged via USB, probably most notable of Flip camcorders is the flip-out USB arm which allows users to quickly plug in the camcorder to a PC for video transfer. As you can see in the sample video below, the Flip Mino HD is able to capture videos with quality almost indistinguishable from proper sized camcorders. Compromising video quality is a common myth, but this is by no means the case!
