All of us are completely aware of the tragedies that Yahoo! and Microsoft have been facing since Google started to take over the internet market. Google is literally the king of internet and has surely curbed down the grip of giants like Yahoo! and Microsoft over their customer base. Same was the reason why Microsoft and Yahoo! had to join hands (to an extent) to fight with the Giant Google. Well, now it seems like even Apple has started to loose its share due to Google. Did we all see this coming?

A recent survey has proved that iPad has already started to loose ground against Google’s Android when it comes to developers creating applications. The initial love for iPad is now dead with a large base of developers rushing to make their apps compatible with Android though the regular ‘apple committed’ developers continue to stick to iPad platform.
Developers seem to have lost their interest in iPad which initially was truly exciting. Appcelerator (the original company behind the survey) had conducted a similar survey in January 2010 and had found the developer interest in iPad to be around 90%. The survey of March 2010 revealed that the interest level of developers had reduced to 80% compared to January’s 90%. Most of them now consider iPad to be a skew off iPhone and it is not being considered as a new platform.
Though the recently launched Nexus One and Motorola Droid didn’t sell as expected but they did their job of raising awareness for the free OS that they carried under their belly, Android.

I don't think that iPad will lose his market, the iPads are so popular with their name and the feature they provide to their customers satisfaction and thier popularity makes them keep out of the crowd.
yup android is doing very well in developing beautiful new features..but i don't think so they would compete iPads
