Its not only Taiwanese and Korean companies introducing new products and technologies this time around. From time to time, America has also been introducing their products in the technology market. Although these will often include high quality parts from Germany, but a complete product with a “Made in Germany” is hard to find. Here is an Android powered tablet PC from a German company called Neofonie.

Neofonie is a German company from Berlin, which is all set to introduce an Android powered tablet PC christened as WePad. Thanks to the specially developed software and Siemens as a systems integrator and strategic partner, the project is a fairly safe venture.
The WePad runs for approximately 6 hours while browsing the Internet, with Flash and Java support, and a bigger display screen of 11.6 inches, WePad is nothing less than an Apple product. It features two standard USB ports and a 3 in 1 card reader which make additional adapters unnecessary. A webcam and UMTS will also be integrate to this Android slate. It is powered by an Intel Atom N450 processor and offers you with an unknown amount of flash memory. And it is perhaps more powerful than much hyped Apple iPad. With a particular operating system, the installation of apps should be as simple as in the iPhone or the Android phones. WePad supports almost all the eBook formats, making it a powerful tablet PC.
