You couldn’t possibly have known it if I didn’t tell you. Unless of course you were at this year’s Winter Olympics in Vancouver. It appears that Canon were handing out these camera lens mugs for free as collectibles. They look exactly identical to their Canon 70-200mm F4 lens, except that they hold nice hot coffee / tea / hot coco! What a great way to promote their brand and offer people a way to keep their hands warm!

Knowing that these are special edition gifts, we were able to learn from a seller on eBay that these will be officially available to buy from mid-April? They are available for pre-order now for $80 which is quite expensive given that they are not actually working lens! We’re unsure however reliable the release date is but check out the eBay link below if this is what you’re interested in!
