We saw a prototype model of Sunbox – an energy efficient solar power charger, we have yet another green energy saving power charging station - GenZ Power charging station.

The GenZ Eco Power charging station offers a charging solution for those who have multiple handheld devices like mobile, tablet PCs, GPS navigation systems etc. The device can recharge 4 gadgets equipped with a green energy saving feature enabled by a  power auto shutdown once device is fully charged. This is one of the coolest features and I am sure almost everyone of us forget to shutdown the power even when the device is charged.  This prevents overcharging and the helps your battery to live more.

The device is tagged to be energy efficient and can reduce power usage by at least 10%. The device includes 13 built-in connectors that makes sure that you will certainly find a suitable socket for your PDA, Mobile, MP3 player or a tablet PC. Each socket charger is also enabled with a varying voltage capacity that is calibrated specifically for the device that it is associated with.

Although no wireless charging soltuion is avaialbe yet, but GenZ Power charging station is compatible with almost every gadget alive on the earth today.  It seems GenZ is trying to compete with Powermat, which offers wireless power charging solution unlike this device, but certainly you might want to keep an eye on this device.
