Kicking off a brilliant start at the PMA, Sony has revealed their latest ultra compact Alpha DSLR concept camera with interchangeable lenses. Though not a great deal is known at this point. We have learnt that the new compact Alpha series DSLR will boast an Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, which provides it with full AVCHD video capability.
With interchangeable lenses, Sony hopes that future users will be able to benefit from its down sized design but still maintain the ability to capture conventional DSLR quality photos.
Unfortunately (and annoyingly), this is all that’s known at this point, though we’d love to at least find out a model number of some kind! Do check out Sony’s teaser video below…
