After a long wait, HTC finally announces Legend (Android based Smartphone) and its official. One of the reason behind its wait is that the fact that Legend is being seen as the spiritual successor to HTC Hero.

Although Nexus One did not live up to expectations, but HTC is all set to prove its metal again. HTC Legend posses the same angled design with the classic Android ‘chin’ as that of the super hit HTC Hero. HTC has designed Legend with a single aluminum sheet. Yes, it sounds pretty much like the Apple way but one can easily find a hint of HTC touch to it.

Legend incorporates a wonderful 3.2 inches touch screen display with a picture resolution of 320 X 480 HVGA. Despite of conventional trackball, Legend features an optical trackpad powered with optical sensors for better performance.

With Legend, HTC is looking to offer the best of HTC Sense technology. HTC offers a newsreader widget with this Android powered Smartphone. With a 5 Megapixel color camera, you can capture high quality images.

It can be used as a business phone too, as it features Wi Fi, Bluetooth, 900/2100 3G and quad-band Edge connectivity options. With a storage space capability of 32 GB (with microSD card), you need not worry about storing your files.

With no official news about its price, HTC Legend is expected to heat up the European and Asian markets in the early times of Q2. With Legend, HTC is again looking to capture the imagination of the people.
