Sony Ericsson has been busy throughout this year to launch its new smart phones at MWC 2010.  It’s Sony’s tradition to treat MWC as one of the biggest event of the year and this year too they have succeeded to keep the tradition intact with launch of its Vivaz and Xperia phones.

Xperia colors

The X10 mini and the X10 mini pro are two new entries in the XPERIA line and there is a a brand new 720p video capturing Vivaz Pro complete with QWERTY keyboard.

The X10 mini and the X10 mini pro are Android based with a feature of  Timescape which is Sony’s exclusive UI that unifies all communication channel into one. Android version of both of the phone would be 1.6 and Sony promises it would enable full access to android market with the two new launches.

Xperia front

Typical features of Sony Xperia mini are a 2.55” TFT scratch-resistant touchscreen of QVGA resolution, a 600MHz Qualcomm CPU, 5MP camera with auto focus and geotagging. It will also support EDGE and dual band HSDPA and  HSUPA. Phone also includes standard features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a USB port and extended support for memory up to 16 GB.

New amongst launched this year at MWC 2010 is Vivaz Pro. It is older version of Sony’s Vivaz with QWERTY Keyboard. It maintains the 720p video recording feature with a 5-megapixel camera. The  exact dimensions are 109 x 52 x 15 mm and 117 grams in weight.

Vivaz Pro

Screen is 3.2-inch  with HD support and scratch resistant surface. You will still receive a 8GB memory card with this phone and revamped Symbian S60 edition. The phone is expected to be out in the second quarter of this year and the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is coming in March 2010.
