Undisputedly the first tablet to get Pixel Qi which is considered to be power efficient due to the fact that it can use sun light to improve brightness quality as well as sporting a typical LCD backlight. This makes Notion Ink Adam to be used as both a normal LCD and an e-reader screen.

The 10.1″ touchscreen display will have 1024 x 600 resolution and graphics is supported by Nvidia Tegra Platform. Tegra is a platform that moves to a dual-core ARM9 CPU and adds improved graphical performance to produce what’s said to be twice the power. Naturally it implies that it could save 50% power usage of screen that should ensure long battery life.

This cool gadget would be equipped with a GPS navigation system, digital compass, speakers, microphone and a 3-megapixel camera. Expandable SD memory slot gives a memory boost of 32GB. Wait, control your adrenalin rush. The device weighs just 700 grams and it just 0.6″ thick. Now this makes one of the coolest gadgets on earth.

Notion Ink Adam would run on Android and will come with a number of cool Notion Ink apps and there’ll be an inevitable app store where you can download more of such cool apps. If Notion Ink opens their app platform for developer, you may also see a marketplace for developing Notion Ink apps similar to apple apps store.

Now coming to the price. Notion Ink has said that the price range would be definitely between $300 and $800. Unfortunately the device would not be available until July 2010.
