Sony Ericsson has released their new business style smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Aspen. Its the first to be running on the new Windows Mobile 6.5.3. Looking very similar to Nokia’s E series smartphones, the 3G-equipped Aspen comes with a 2.4 inch QVGA TFT touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with 4 x digital zoom, built in WiFi, A-GPS and blueooth.

What makes the Aspen different from smartphones of similar class by other phonemakers is that it has been designed to offer a “green choice” for companies and consumers who are most likely to choose it. This makes it a GreenHeart phone, a Sony Ericsson way of proudly-labelling a phone as eco-friendly. Such features aim to cut down its contribution to carbon emissions by including power saving mode, an eco mate application, waterbourne paint, in addition, its box and charger are made of recycled materials.

    I bought this phone on August 24 2010 from mobile store within two months I had to go to sony service center for two times. With 15k price it lacks very basic features like call recording secondary camera screen is too small for touch screen. I curse myself ..and regret my decision of buying this phone its a complete crap … never ever buy this phone
