Tianji iBook EB-605 – Lenovo’s first e-book reader

Portable e book readers are taking the shape of most wanted gadgets of this year. Companies like ASUS and Acer have also launched their e book readers into the markets. Now, Lenovo has announced its first portable e book reader known as Tianji iBook EB-605.

The EB-605′s Samsung ARM 400MHz processor offers all the required power to this Lenovo e book reader and makes it a powerful gadget. With its 6 inch electronic ink display screen, the Tianji iBook EB-605 offers a comfortable view of all e books.

Its dimensions, 178mm x 128.4mm x 9.9mm is evident to the fact that Lenovo made sure to keep the portability factor intact with this e book reader.

Tianji iBook EB-605 e book reader is capable of playing number of e book formats which include DF, CHM, EPUB, TXT, HTM, HTML, RTF, PDF, DJVU, MOBI, PRC e books. And this feature of Lenovo e book reader gives it a cutting edge over other newly released e book readers.

Tianji iBook EB-605 offers enough connectivity options which include 3G and Bluetooth so that you can transfer e books easily and smoothly.

In addition to the above mentioned features, Lenovo is looking to target the mid range level of e book readers and apparently the price tag of Tianji iBook EB-605 has been set as $293. There is no official announcement about its release date yet, but the market is surely waiting for this e book reader by Lenovo.

    I love the rounded corners on the Tianji! It's a nice style and a clean look. The price is right about what the average e-reader costs today. It should do well considering the number of formats it accepts.
