With CES running at full force, consumer companies are busy unveiling some of the amazing products. The bar is set high and every one is competing to out class their rivals. Dell, in latest presentation at CES 2010 unveiled its 5-inch prototype tablet.  Other several new products also include the Palm Pre Plus & Pixi Plus that were unveiled at CES recently.

Wireless induction charging is introduced in the new Palm Pre model. Touchstone compatible back cover facilitates the wireless charging. You can see Eric Giler’s wireless electricity taking shape into its first consumer product. Memory also gains from 8GB found in earlier model of Palm Pre to 16 GB. On the other hand, Pixi Plus is provided with Wi-Fi capabilities including induction wireless charging.

Both of these products will be designed for service provider Verizon. With Verizon’s 3G data services, these models will allow users to establish Wi-Fi networks.

Palm also announced the coming availability of a number of 3D games from such vendors as EA and Gameloft. Palm has also opened its OS development program for developer and announced $1 million prize for oe of the most successful application. This will be refered as Hot Apps prize pool.

Dell also flaunted its prototype 5-inch slate tablet, which is an Android based device. It’s equiped with 5 megapixel camera and a sim card slot. However, more official information is yet to be handed over to media and public. Dell as of now has just been successful in teasing the audience with it’s new cool, geeky gadget. As Apple iSlate is about to enter earlier this year, all other companies are trying to prove their abilities in the niche and brand new tablet market. Its not exactly certainly what Dell’s new device will be called at this point.
