Just before 2010 was about to knock at our doors, Acer unveiled its Aspire One 532h Netbook. It is the company’s first netbook to integrate Intel’s latest Pine Trail for the Atom processor.  Other features are almost similar to Acer’s existing Netbook lineup.

The Pine Trail platform provides a breakthrough for moving from the current three-chip architecture to the novel two-chip architecture. The Central Processing Unit engulfs graphics and memory controller whereas the I/O Controller serves as the second chip. This enables better performance and longevity of the machine.

This latest addition to Acer’s Aspire range features Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Pack, which replaces the traditional Windows XP. Intel’s Atom N450 1.66 GHz promises faster processing and uninterrupted service. The processor, along with the power saving 10-inch LED-lit screen is assumed to deliver 8 to 10 work hours on the 6 Cell battery pack.

The Acer 532h Netbook offers greater control through an enlarged touchpad which aids in multi-touch functions. The Keyboard size of this lovely Netbook is up to 93 percent of the normal keyboard. Its common features include 160 GB HDD, 1 GB RAM, 802.11n Wi-Fi and a Webcam.

You will be able to take a glimpse at the new Acer Aspire One 532h Netbook during the upcoming CES. More announcements regarding the product are still awaited. The company plans to supply the product for sale in later January at an MSRP of $300. While other options are available for users seeking Pine Trail Netbooks, 532h seems to be a promising deal.
