Found this very useful quick clip recently. If you’re like me, you could only afford a 200GB hard drive when you first bought your laptop and one year later, you’ve already run out of space, this do it yourself tutorial could help you and save you from hiring someone else to do it for you. Tom Merritt from CNET shows you how to backup, create a bootable image of your Windows PC or Mac using some easily downloadable software. He then teaches you how to take out your existing hard drive and the things you need to watch out for.

Good luck with that, I too thought it would be quite difficult until I saw this video. Especially the choice of software to use gave me a headache! Hope your upgrade goes well.
