The iPhone Dev Team have released their latest updated version of PwnageTool, 3.1.3. This new jailbreak tool extends its reach to the third generation iPhone 3GS as well as second generation iPod Touch. For those who would like full confirmation, the new PwnageTool 3.1.3 now supports iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and first and second gen iPod Touch.
If you’ve got a non-jailbroken iPhone 3GS running 3.1, now’s your chance to redeem it into a proper iPhone once more. The upgraded PwnageTool allows the 3GS (and the second gen iPod touch) to be jailbroken thus allowing users to gain access to third party apps on Cydia for example. That’s the good news, there is one bad news though. The new PwnageTool still lacks the ability to jailbreak brand new iPhones which have come straight-out-of-the-box installed with iPhone OS 3.1.
Good news to fans of solar gadgets, LG’s new mobile phone, the GD510 may appear to look like any LG phone running S-Class UI but in fact its secret lies on its back. The GD510 will apparently have an optional solar panel that will replace the battery cover and can be used to charge the phone’s battery. We are yet to find out how exactly this mechanism will be achieved, but it sounds like this won’t be an accessory you will find on unboxing.
The phone comes with a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 400, a 3-megapixel camera, and a 8GB of storage space to store your captured pictures or videos. The LG GD510 will be available beginning in mid-October in Europe, it will be interesting to know if this solar panel will in the future be compatible with other currently existing LG phones.
This near production Honda CR-Z hybrid concept which was first showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show back in 2007 will soon be concept-no-more as it is queued to hit the Japanese production lines. The Honda CR-Z is a technology packed two seater, hybrid (and might I say looks like a really cool hot hatch) with a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine, with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Designed to definitely appeal to the younger generation of new drivers, it does look alot like the Honda Insight (a more family orientated hybrid from Honda) but it doesn’t boast the Insight’s CVT and of course it looks alot more sportier!
