First unveiled in March this year, the Samsung NX Series DSLR cameras recently got pictured up close by the AVING team at the IFA 2009. Samsung first announced that the first models would be available by the second half of this year and they are certainly on schedule with perfect timing. Samsung is calling the new NX Series hybrid digital cameras and by that they mean the NX Series will be able to offer the performance and image quality of a DSLR but the portability and convenience of a compact point-and-shoot. Micro-Star Int’l (MSI) has announced their latest Core i7-equipped MSI GT640 15.4-inch gaming laptop. Along with a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, the GT640 also features strong specs which has allowed the Taiwan-based company to temporaily claim the title as the world’s most powerful gaming notebook.
Onboard the GT640 is a NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M 1GB dedicated video card, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB of hard drive storage, and a built-in DVD burner or Blu-ray drive. Other notables include a two megapixel webcam, HDMI, 7.1 channel audio output and an eSATA input. No info on pricing yet however given that it will come with Windows 7 Home Premium, its likely release date would probably be after the 22nd of this month.
RIM have released their Blackberry Desktop sync software for users of Mac OS X. The BlackBerry Desktop app allows you to sync your iTunes playlists, calendars, contacts, notes and tasks with your BlackBerry. Additionally, you can also manage applications, apply software updates,backup and restore your BlackBerry device (with support for scheduled updates and encryption) all through your Mac.

In this latest CNET video Brian Tong analyses some of the latest details which have been leaked onto the net regarding Apple’s iTablet pc. Its been suggested that an announcement could be made as soon as January 19th, 2010 with launch in the summer months. The iTablet could possibly have a 10.7-inch touchscreen, run the iPhone OS and allow its users to read books, mags just like the Kindle but at the same time allow users to take notes and perform rich multimedia tasks just like the iPod Touch.
