Apple releases iPhone OS 3.1.2

Its not been very long since iPhone OS 3.1 was released but Apple yesterday just released an update for the iPhone OS, upgrading it to 3.1.2. Though this appears to be just a minor update fixing the widely reported issues where the iPhone would not wake from sleep and also an issue involving video streaming, playback and cellular service, we would recommend any iPhone user who has a jailbroken / unlocked iPhone to delay from installing this update.

Dell held an event yesterday in which the very mysterious new Adamo XPS was revealed. They’ve teased us before, now they’re doing it once again, just eyes-on no hands on, why won’t they release at least a few more details on their new ultrathin lappie?

For those who have not heard about the new XPS version of the Adamo. Its been officially boasted to be just 9.99mm thick which makes the Adamo XPS even thinner than the original Adamo (16.39mm) and to put this into perspective, its half as thin as the MacBook Air (19.4mm at its thickest).

For those keen on checking out the latest tech that are currently in development, here’s a video that is well worth watching (it is eight minutes long possibly NSFW!). Microsoft is showing off five concept mice with added functionality. All of them seek to replace traditional move-and-click with touch sensitivity through either capacitive sensing, video recognition, sensor articulation, or laser scanning.

Multi-touch technologies are all the rage, letting people use multiple fingers to zoom, pinch and manipulate objects on screen in everything from the iPhone to Microsofts upcoming Windows 7 operating system. But what about multi-touch on a mouse?
