Samsung ‘Plus’ memory cards up to 16GB to be announced

Samsung has made an announcement finally making their new ‘Plus’ class memory cards official. Their new Plus range will be available to consumers in ill be available in SD, microSD and Compact Flash (CF) formats and will boast up to 16GB of memory capacity. With Secure Digital class 6 performance standards and speeds of up to 45 Mb/s, these will be a hit amongst photographers and mobile phone users.

The new Samsung Plus memory cards will be available in Taiwan this month, with sales in other select countries likely to follow at a later date. No pricing info is yet available.
