Its been a while since Motorola caught our attention but last week they’ve finally taken a step forward to unleash their new and first ever Android powered smartphone – the Motorola Dext (or Cliq if you’re elsewhere not in Europe).
Due to arrive the UK next month via Orange, not only will the Dext be an Android powered sliding beast but also one with a touch of Motorola customisation. Known as MOTOBLUR (Motorola Blur), the platform aims to act as a social media aggregator syncing with Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, Picasa and others onto a customizable homescreen that displays info users want from any of the services.

Here’s a quick video to start off the Monday morning, the folks at Fonearena recently compared the new Nokia N97 Mini version with its older sibling. I personally still fancy the original N97 but see what you think!
Though it may seem abit harsh to decide to buy or not to buy the new iPod Nano just on the quality of its video camera, the folks at NewTeeVee have just done a comparison with a Flip camcorder to see what the differences are. I suppose these days, we all what to compare and get the most out of every pence we spend! One problem with this comparison though, they haven’t mentioned which Flip they’ve used just “SD” so it could be Mino or Ultra.
“Overall — the Flip offered a MUCH better picture both indoor and out, providing way more detail in the image. The Flip microphone was also a little more discerning in our test, able to distinguish our subject’s voice in a crowded room much better than the Nano.”
3M Littman has introduced their latest electronic stethoscope equipped with bluetooth. This electronic stethoscope is capable of recording patients’ heart and lung sounds. The data can been easily transferred to PC using bluetooth for further analysing by doctors.
As we have reported just a few days ago, if you’re an iPhone 3G / 3GS user who’s unlocked your iPhone using ultrasn0w, you’re advised not to update to the latest iPhone OS 3.1.1 (3.1) which was released earlier this week.

Well Dell didn’t just tease us to clarify, they’re teasing everyone and all those who wanted to own an Adamo. The Adamo which we’ve covered extensively here on GadgetLite is probably one of the most classy and elegant laptops we’ve ever seen.
Despite Dell’s mysterious picture of the Adamo XPS, they have revealed one important spec – the Adamo XPS will be 9.99mm thick which makes it even thinner than the original Adamo (16.39mm) and much thinner than the MacBook Air (19.4mm at its thickest), that’s certainly a selling point. Unfortunately, we’ll probably have to sit through a batch of intermittently leaked pics, ads, etc, before seeing the real thing get revealed. For those who are interested, we recommend you sign up for news on the Adamo XPS over at Dell here…
Palm has officially made the Pixi their new Web OS phone. The Pixi as most will imagine would be a step higher and more advanced than the Pre but in fact, it isn’t and some may even regard it as the simplified version of the Palm Pre more suited for those not really into multimedia functions.
If you had the Pre, take out its wifi, remove 80 pixels of vertical resolution, downgrade its camera to two megapixels, add support for Yahoo! and LinkedIn syncing, a preinstalled Facebook application, and what you get is the new Pixi.
