Don’t you guys start calling it Windows Mobile 6.5, as it is now officially (but exclusively shown to the folks at The Inquirer) known as the Windows Phone and nothing else. Microsoft does have the habit of changing names for those of you who are not always in touch, its their way of rebranding and relaunching something that’s old and starting to loose touch. Just like how Live suddenly became Bing for example. Nevermind the rebranding, well the story behind this video below is that The Inquirer were given an exclusively first hands on demo with the final build of Windows Phone OS. It was demoed on a touch screen HTC Touch Diamond2 but for those who are wondering

Sony has unveiled two very non-pricey, highly affordable point and shoot Cyber-shots with high end specs. The DSC-TX1 and DSC-WX1 are both new additions to Sony’s Cyber-shot range. Sony has blessed the TX1 and WX1 with a back-illuminated CMOS sensor, the Exmor R. If you’re wondering why the duo will have near DSLR specs, its mainly because of its sensor. Their sensors will be based on those found in Sony’s DSLRs, this promises to deliver optimal low-light performance without help from a flash or tripod – something that not many point and shoots are doing so well at the moment.
Both 10.2 megapixel TX1 and WX1 will be under the stunning budget price of $380. The $350 WX1 features the exact same G Lens, low-light optimized Exmor R CMOS sensor and Sweep Panaroma mode as seen in Sony’s $500 HX1 mega zoom camera.
Tired of losing Post-it notes? Couldn’t find a marker to write on the white board in the kitchen or at the desk? Well, Jenda may have the right thing for you, its called the Lifetime voice calendar. Its basically a mobile recorder in the shape of a calendar, it sounds simple to use even kids and seniors should have no problem with it.
Just push the right buttons for the exact date and make a recording of the list of things you need to do, then at that very day just push the blinking “Today” button and the list of messages will be replayed, so no more problems with eligible hand writings, missing Post-its thus forgotten appointments, birthdays, anniversaries etc
For the ladies or guys with long hair, here’s a new trendy accessory from the Japanese which in a way replaces the traditional hair pin.
The set consists of three pieces of nylon measuring 103 x 58 mm each with rows of short tiny hairs similar to velcro, black or pink is available. Whenever one needs to clear the forehead of hair in order to wash the face or to put on make up, merely use these sheets to temporaily hold the hair on top of the head and to either side by static instantly.
When finished just lift it and put them aside til next time, they are washable, lightweight and easy to use in a Japanese kind of way!
