iphone-3gThe news doesn’t come as much surprise. Ever since O2 won exclusive rights to selling the iPhone here in the UK its gained a tremendous number of new customers but its also been a controversial topic amongst users especially when talking about how its iPhone tariffs are arranged and offered. The confusing deal between the UK network giant and Apple gives O2 the right to offer the iPhone until 2012, although being the only operator in the UK that can sell Apple’s iPhone is only a 2-year deal. To make this more clear, the bottom line is that O2 will soon need to be prepared to sell iPhones along side its rival networks here in the UK. Its exclusive iPhone contract will end officially by the 9th of this October. Analysts say specifically Orange and T-Mobile will be the networks we should look out for as they have already got agreements with Apple for the iPhone in France and Germany.
