Announced not very long ago, the Lenovo S12 was the first netbook to sport the new Nvidia Ion platform. Though the Dev Team says this is possible, they feel that iPhone OS firmware 3.1 which may soon be released will cause a rapid repeat of their cat and mouse game with Apple. So where is this non-Dev Team jailbreak method coming from? George or GeoHot says the following…

Normally I don’t make tools for the general public, and rather wait for the dev team to do it. But guys, whats up with waiting until 3.1? That isn’t how the game is played. We release, Apple fixes, we find new holes. It isn’t worth waiting because you might have the “last” hole in the iPhone. What last hole…this isn’t golf. I’ll find a new one next week.

Flip Video has announced its revamped Flip Ultra and Flip ultra HD. They are the second genernation model of its flagship Flip Ultra packet camcorder, which was launched about a year ago.

The key advances features for both the latest Ultra and UltraHD includes a doubling of internal memory capacity, allowing users to capture up to two hours of footage on the camera . The Flip Ultra’s viewing screen has also been significantly expanded to two-inches to offer superior playback.  As with the original Ultra, the new generation series also provide simple, one-touch recording and the signatiure flip-our USB arm connects directly to any compatible devices.
