Ya, I think we'd ALL prefer one to the other (wink wink, nudge nudge)but factor in cost(up front and monthly) and do we have the same answer?? NOPE!! Definately take a lot of phones in the LG line that would rank higher on my over all scale than the iPhone... Maybe since I had a Touch since (literally) the first day they came out, and ended up giving it away to a friend who gets a ton more use out of it than I that the crazy (and admittingly F***ING SWEET UI, ACCELERROMETER AND MULTI TOUCH CAPABILITIES) little device is simply out of my system... I've been a Mac user for years, and I currently have a Nokia N82 which I just posted on ebay for the opportunity to buy the Viewty. I guess now I am more into having high quality add ons, than the out of the box sexiness of you know what, but at this point, look out for the Palm Pre, she's creeping up quick and in my opinion is the only device that can even be considered an "iPhone Killer" and I personally think IT'S A BLOODY MASSACRE!!! lol, LG's are sick tho, anyone know where I can get either a carbon fiber or a more metal-like housing for that bad boy?? Basically my oal is to have the Viewty the Beauty inside of a shine... What the hell am I doing still typing anyways, I got accesories for a new phone to buy!!!!

First post to a comment page ever, can you tell?? I actually work in the industry at MIT and just never felt the need to be social with ppl I will never see/meet/speak to again, but good topic here man, you got it out of me!!!!

RE: Pre Order PSP Go # 23 July 2009 at 4:55 pm

An interesting comment. Just did a quick comparison [via www.cnet.co.uk] re: height, width, depth and weight. The LG Viewty Smart is smaller and lighter than the iPhone [the depths are equal]. I know which one I'd prefer.

[If I'm incorrect in any way I apologise]

This looks nice and sounds very full featured however it does appear quite chunky compared to other phones (e.g. the iPhone)

This new Viewty looks nice.. Seems LG really offers a great-featured phone this time.
But I think its features doesn't differ so much from other latest LG phones
