Its finally been confirmed, the UK’s official iPhone carrier network O2 has bagged their latest deal with the Palm Pre. This confirms that O2 will be bringing the Pre to the UK exclusively.

O2 said the phone would be available in the UK in time for the winter holidays. No details have been given of how much it will cost when it goes on sale. The deal between O2 and Palm covers the UK, Ireland, and Germany. When the Palm Pre was originally launched in the US, the phone costed $199.99 after a rebate, and buyers were tied into a two-year contract when purchasing the phone. If based on this, the Palm Pre will cost approximately £129 under a similar contract however, any official details on this are yet to be revealed.
