Activision Publising Inc. has announced that the Radical Entertainment’s highly anticipated video game: Prototype is arriving North American retail outlets today, and it will be available in Europe this Friday, June 12. With 9 out of 10 game sites’ reviews, the Prototype video game is set to deliver a powerful, action-packed gaming experience.

Apple’s upcoming free iDisk app for iPhone is indeed going to be one of those apps which you will tap and use on a daily basis. The only catch is that you will need to be a MobileMe user. Once its out, the iDisk app will let you view your iDisk files right on your iPhone.

It provides support for most popular file types, such as Microsoft Office and iWork ’09 documents and presentations, PDFs, all of which when opened will be viewable in landscape or portrait and of course zoomable using pinch gestures.

Beanaware is the latest concept by Heinz, which is a USB powered baked beans microwave oven. There are many different USB gadgets on the market, Beanaware is probably one of the coolest we’ve seen so far. It will be the world’s smallest microwave, measuring only 7.4 inches tall, 2.6 inches wide and 5.9 inches deep.

Heinz is considering producing a battery powered version and with Lithium Ion batteries. If consumers’ feedbacks are good, Beanaware will be put it into production. The recommended retail price will be around $160.

Did you know that there is a secret hidden app called “Developer Mode Enabler”? It can be elicited simply by typing in the phrase “upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart”, which if you parse with spacing might be more easily recognizable as the infamous Contra / Konami code (look it up), into the launcher screen of your Palm Pre. It was discovered by the leaked ROM just recently.

The new MacBook Pro lineup

Apart from the iPhone 3G S and iPhone 3.0 which were showcased at the WWDC yesterday, there is also now a new MacBook Pro lineup. Aluminum unibody as you will probably have guessed, the MacBook Pro family will include 13-inch, 15-inch and 17 inch.

Improved features include 40% extended battery life, thanks to their lithium polymer built-in battery technology that can gest out a minimum of seven hours of work on a single charge. LED backlit displays will give better colour, multi-touch trackpad, an illuminated keyboard and guess what a new SD card (13 and 15-inch) or ExpressCard slot (17-inch), FireWire 800 port and new NVIDIA graphics display.

For those not so familiar with what internet tethering is, it basically lets your laptop / netbook / computer use the internet via the iPhone’s 3G connectivity.
