Leaked by Nikon themselves, it looks like Nikon D300S is currently in the making. The below Nikon LCD screen gives it away at both corners, its said that the image was taken from an official Nikon USA site. In addition, the left bottom corner’s SD logo hints dual card support which if is true will be excellent news.
Some very clever folks who have been playing around with the Palm Pre have managed to stuff the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) emulator into the new Palm mobile. This allows you to virtually play any NES game at a maximum resolution of 320×480, after some display setting tweaks that is.
It isn’t a clean and simple walk in the park though. “All it requires is a quick trip to root on the device a compile of the FCEUltra NES emulator for Linux and bam, it’s good to go.” – This isn’t as simple as it sounds folks. But if you do know a fair bit about Linux then you could certainly give it a go, hit the Pre Dev Wiki link below for full instructions.

If you’ve got a lawn on an uphill incline, you’ll know the difficulty of lawn mowing, especially if its really steep. This latest in hybrid technology remote control lawn mower by Evatech has been designed to tackle this problem, not only does it allow you to sit back, relax and let it do the work for you but it also saves you fuel because its a hybrid!
Every manufacturer is on about hybrid technology these days so why can’t lawn mowers? With over 40% efficiency on fuel compared to standards, this remote control robotic mower can climb inclines as steep as 75 degrees, surpassing any other mowers of its class. This makes it incredibly fun and safe to mow through steepy grass lawns efficiently, watch the video after the jump and see it in action…
Fancy a hands-free toilet flushing system at home? Take a look at the RoboFlush. It is yet another great use of the LEGO Mindstorms NXT Kit, touch sensor and a ultrasonic sensor (for flush detection) to do the flushing work for you. Check out the video of how it works after the break.
Here’s something abit more radical to start you off with your week. Everytime we stumble over Instructables we find something great, this time we’ve found this geeky DIY which turned an old IBM electric typewriter into a fully working computer keyboard.
I certainly remember having one of these around the house when I was growing up but I never thought it would be of any more use since PCs came along. Maybe now is the time to get it out, instead of taking it down to the museum!
I have to agree with the creator of this genius project though, is it a typewriter that’s a computer keyboard? Or is it a computer keyboard that’s a typewriter? If you’re prepared to sacrifice your old antique then hit the jump and find out what you’ll need to setup this cool, geeky project.
