Here’s our latest mini recession antidote folks. We reviewed the Altus Lumen PAD-L portable LED light earlier this year and from some of the messages you guys have sent in recently it appears Altus Lumen themself have run out of stock for the black version which we have decided to put up for grabs.

Nintendo has announced that a new black version of its popular video game console Wii will be arriving in August. Those of you who have held up on buying the original white colour themed Wii for the past two years may now finally be tempted to a make purchase.

Though there won’t be any changes in terms of hardware, I must say that the black Wii as well as its black Wiimote pictured looks amazing.

E3: New Sony PS3 motion controller

After the Microsoft announcement of its new technology controller-free control system called Project Natal, Sony has announced their rivalry gadget, the new Motion Controller for Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3). The Motion Controller for PS3 works in a similar way to Nintendo’s Wii controller.

There is a senor sits on top of the TV and detects the position, distance and movement of two controllers held in a user’s hand. The device can measure where the controllers are in relation to each other and how close they are to the sensor, aiming to create a true 3D movement within a game.
