If you haven’t got much going on this weekend, bookmark this page and come back to it, I’ve been repeatedly watching this video today. Ever thought Post it notes could be used to represent pixels and thus create a stop motion video? This really geeky, yet amazing art project video by Bang-yao Liu of Savanna College of Art and Design below says it all.
“Every time when I am busy, I feel that I am not fighting with my works, I am fighting with those Post-it notes and deadline. I manipulated the Post-it notes to do pixel-like stop motion, and there are some interactions between real actor and Post-its.”
Want to know how it was done? Its not as simple as it seems and doesn’t involve the use of any clever technology instead just pure brain juice and of course a whole team of people. The video below shows you all the hard work and time that was put into making that two minute clip that you just saw. In total, the video took four days to shoot, consuming at least 6,000 Post it notes, that’s alot!
