Samsung has officially announced its latest 12 megapixel camera phone, the Samsung Pixon 12. Having failed to show at this year’s MWC, the Samsung Pixon 12 features a 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen, 150MB of internal memory (up to 16GB MicroSD expansion), HSDPA, Wi-Fi, internal GPS and Bluetooth. The Pixon 12 also has the ability to take 720 x 480 pixel videos at 30fps.
More details after the break.
With the Pixon 12′s camera, you get a 28mm wide angle lens allowing an excellent perspective and fuller capture of scenes for consumers. With Touch Auto-Focus (AF) tracking, users can simply select focus points straight from the touchscreen. Moreover, Smart Auto feature allows users to capture the perfect image as the camera automatically changes the scene and mode based on its object, background and lighting.
For those in the UK and Europe, the new and pretty amazing Samsung Pixon 12 will be available from late June, while other countries will need to wait until August.
