News: LG GD900 Crystal arriving in July

Its finally official, the LG GD900 Crystal was announced by LG yesterday here in the UK. For those of you who have been emailing in, the release will be on the 1st of July, only at the Carphone Warehouse.

We are obviously very excited about this, most of you interested will probably have seen the video of the GD900′s Crystal Touchpad in action. Its the first of its kind and no doubt making the Crystal one of the most elegant LG phones ever.

Just to recap, the LG GD900 will come with LG’s latest S-Class user interface as well as excellent specs including eight megapixel camera, 3″ full touchscreen, WiFi, Bluetooth as well as support for up to 32GB of external memory making the GD900 another excellent all round multimedia camerphone.

BBC recently visited the Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan where some of the coolest robots were being developed. Though these bots may appear to have clever designs, they’re not just for looks. Their different abilities may well be crucial for saving lifes in natural disasters in the future. In places like Japan, earthquakes are the most feared and these robots could provide valuable aid.

IdeaCentre C300 is the latest all-in-one desktop by Lenovo. To be introduced at the low-end of the price range, the C300 will be equipped with Intel Atom 230 processor, integrated Intel graphics and a small price tag of  just $449. A fair deal and a good choice for this point in time of the recession if I must say.

The rumor about the Zune HD is real. Microsoft has officially announced the latest Zune HD, which will be available in the U.S only starting this fall. The Zune HD is an OLED touchscreen PMP here to take on the iPod touch. The Zune HD features 3.3-inch, 480 x 272 OLED capacitive touchscreen display, built-in HD radio receiver and HD output.

There aren’t any more details just yet, but Microsoft says more will be coming at E3. Microsoft is bringing Zune store to Xbox LIVE Video Marketplace. According to the company, at E3 “attendees will see first-hand how Zune integrates into Xbox LIVE creating a game-changing entertainment experience”
