The H1N1 Swine Flu pandemic has created a lot of anxiety at the moment. But thanks to the technology we have these days, you can now see the cases spreading in real time on Google Maps (once the WHO (World Health Organisation) has declared them).
The current H1N1 Swine Flu has been on the the headlines in the last couple of days. The H1N1 Swine Flu is a mutation of a port virus that jumped from pigs to humans. Already 103 people have died in Mexico, if you’re cautious about this outbreak and want to keep track of the spread of this possible pandemic, the below is a quick legend to looking at the Swine Flu tracking map on Google.
The different colour on the map indicate the following:
- Pink markers are suspect
- Purple markers are confirmed
- Deaths lack a dot in marker
- Yellow markers are negative

Are there many Star Trek fans visiting this blog? I honestly don’t know. Nevertheless, this simple iPhone case mod, which I must admit haven’t seen many out there as yet looks interesting and would be neat to show off to friends. We’ve just received some news tip from one of our readers that they’ve spotted the LG GD900 Crystal on the Carphone’s coming soon section. The Carphone who are usually very accurate with their dates have slated the LG GD900 Crystal to arrive in mid-May this year. You may remember that it was first thought the GD900 actually had a crystal made transparent keypad, this has been proven to be glass. Nevertheless we look forward to trying it out as this will be the first ever to be seen on a mobile and as we’ve featured before in some videos, this keypad sports some interesting features.
This is not at all surprising to hear, since developers these days are so willing to share the latest build of operating systems as soon as they get it. This latest leak shows that the recent new Snow Leopard build (10A335) sports a handy screen grab feature, this new native ability links in with QuickTime to “record” your on-screen activities. I suppose it then convenient makes a video and saves it on your desktop just like the current screenshot capture function that our Mac OS Xs’ have. Again, this in my view is another thoughtful function that Microsoft will never think of.
While we know how pricey the Sony VAIO P Series may already be, we didn’t get to really try it out and get hands on with it recently. After having done that at the Gadget Show Live recently, we truly agree that if you had the desire and the money to spend on the new Sony portable beast then you should also drop your coin on this, Vaja’s leather made “ivolution suit”.
