Here at the Gadget Show Live, JAYS Earphones, specialists in quality earphones, headphones and audio accessories showcased some of their latest products including the c-JAYS headphones. Much like the Able Planet foldable noise cancelling headphones we reviewed a few months ago, the c-JAYS are also ergonomic in its design.

Equipped with JAYS Elastic Multi Layer diaphragm speakers, the c-JAYS deliver precise clarity, providing balanced sound with detailed highs, rich mids and powerful lows. STOCKHOLM, Sweden and UK – 10 December 2008: Jays, the company that brought you the highly acclaimed q-JAYS – the world’s smallest in-earphones with dual armatures –  has stepped into the headphone market with the launch of the c-JAYS. Combining superb design with exceptional comfort and audio quality, c-JAYS are the perfect answer for consumers who want the Jays audio experience through a headphone rather than an in-earphone.

Lightweight and flexible, C-JAYS’ extending arms are made from hard-wearing, glassfibre-reinforced nylon making them flexible, tough and able to stand up to use in demanding environments. What’s more, they can even be folded up so it’s easy to carry and store them.

The new c-JAYS include Jay’s own Elastic Multi Layer (EML) membrane that delivers crystal-sharp, balanced audio with detailed highs, full-bodied mids, and extended base. c-JAYS also include a new type of cable, known as SGSCC (Single Crystal Copper), that minimises the distortions that can easily occur with  ordinary copper-based audio cables.

“Increasingly people are using headphones with their laptops or for gaming, and often when they’re on the move. We have designed c-JAYS specifically with this in mind. Our first external headphones have been developed to provide an optimum audio experience for everyone, whether they’re being used for music, films or to enhance the gaming experience,” explained Tim Mabley, VP of Jays.
