The speculations of the Lenovo Pocket Yoga concept, a slim, P Series-like netbook which was leaked to the press by Lenovo earlier today has now been confirmed to be an aborted project which will never come to reality. Interestingly, Lenovo have had the Pocket Yoga concept for the past two years but didn’t think and still don’t think that it should be put into production. Sorry folks, no specs and I suppose there never will be, but it was wonderful to bare the hope of seeing the Pocket Yoga come to life while it lasted!
MacMod member EdsJunk / Eddie Zarick has modified the Apple logo on his MacBook (now on eBay I believe, what great promotional skills!) to act as a second video display. There’s a video embedded below showing it playing Quicktime videos and the iTunes visualizer, though limited on specs, this mod looks to have given it a resolution of at least 640×480.

How much do you fancy the design of the latest third generation iPod Shuffle? My opinion is the design is great on the outside (and inside) but the controls are annoying and I wouldn’t fancy using Apple’s earphones for the whole lifetime of the Shuffle. Yes, there are alternative accessories to bypass this but that means paying more and why should we bother when Apple’s designers should really be giving us more choices?

Another amazing creative Lego product – Star Wars boba fett armor, which you can actually wear! Not sure that it will fit everyone though. This armor also includes the jetpack we saw in the Star Wars movies, which one to be exact I need a Star Wars fan to remind me. This is definitely something to wear if you want to look cool and stand out at a fancy dress party!

The beginning of a real lightsaber!? The “Z Plasma” Saber featured in the video below isn’t actually using just water to cut through steel, it uses a combination of alcohol too. Unlike conventional cutting machines, this one doesn’t require any gas compression or cooling system and emits just water vapour. Sources say this badboy can reach up to 8000 degrees, this sounds remarkable but very hard to believe considering the man handling it in the video has his hand just a few inches away from the tip of the flame itself. The Z Plasma saber will be later available from Reitec Japan.
