It’s Tuesday, Apple’s favourite and prolly only day of the week in which they tend to launch new and latest upcoming products. Today they again temporaily closed down their online store in order to update a new line up of iMacs and also the much rumored Mac Mini. So let’s first take a look at the new updated iMacs. The latest 20-inch iMac features a 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor (Apple previously offered both a 2.4GHz and 2.66GHz configuration), 2GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 memory (with a new maximum of 8GB for all iMac models), a 320GB Serial ATA hard drive, and Nvidia GeForce 9400M integrated graphics with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory (previous 20-inch models had discrete ATI Radeon graphics).
I know we have a number of Dell Adamo fans here on the blog and you guys are always craving for more news. While the official Adamo site hasn’t been that open or helpful (still) about when it will be released, rumored release date to be “second half of 2009″. We just wanted to treat you guys to another mouthwatering stimulant, a hands on video of the Adamo.
What you see isn’t actually an old iMac, it’s just a disguise, this video game console mod has taken advantage of the old iMac’s shell. CGCC forum member Logicdustbin decided to gut the all-in-one retro iMac and replace its inners bits with the discontinued Sega Dreamcast and 15-inch LCD monitor.
The result is the birth of iCast, though a rather unlikely dual, it is a beautiful mod well done, at least now the DreamCast in this case has become an all-in-one console, great for on the go entertainment! Continue reading »
At first we thought this was just another talented photoshop artist at work, but when we explored more we concluded that this swimming (floating) Italian bull was in fact the real thing. You got it, this classically mid-engined Lamborghini Countach designed by amphibious car expert Mike Ryan not only rules the land but also the sea!
Google Street View now lets you see photographs of city streets and their surroundings taken by Google cameras attached to vehicles that have been driving along major city streets in the US and other countries including Japan, Australia, and Spain – I don’t think UK yet guys, sorry!
The latest Google Android phone, the Vodafone HTC Magic doesn’t sport a sliding keyboard, some have felt disappointed about this because on screen keyboards are still no where as fast as proper keyboards when it comes to users who text alot. But from what we can see in this demo video, it doesn’t look like that much of a worry afterall, future improvements will definitely come but it seems at this point it is a neat, reactive keyboard with a bunch of well thought out cool functions (including landscape mode typing!).
