Sony PSP gets hacked into a PC display

Posted on March 31st, 2009 by Editorial Staff in Gaming, Geeky

Though we don’t exactly know how this geeky hacker did it and some of you may find it rather unecessary. It appears that the Sony PSP makes a nice secondary PC status monitor in this hack. Displaying your PCs memory, CPU, CPU temperature status, etc. So for anyone who has a PSP and can’t afford yet to get a second monitor for the PC, this could be worthwhile doing :) Another shot after the break.

LOL! It’s useful indeed. But kind of making the psp ‘useless’ for just showing additional status information about our PC. He should be able to hack it deeper to use it as a real secondary display for instant messaging or checking email. :)

I think this type of hack is just one of those ‘because you can’ type of things. Not that useful, but hey ho!
