Well this is a very thorough report of all the possibilities using solar panels to power cell phones. I love the Solio ideas as well and I heard that Obama even has a Solio to power his Ipod. I just love this techonolgy. Great post I will be sure to link to.

Excellent article. Great to see more information being put out there about solar power. Most people associate solar power with being for houses rather than smaller electrical items. I’m into because of the eco benefits of renewable energy, but they’re great for anyone who doesn’t want to worry about an elecrical source to keep their iPhone or iPod. I love the look of the iCharge Eco, very cool. Hope it comes out in the UK. The one I use is this solar phone charger that also can be used for an iPod and other MP3 players. It’s a little more expensive I think than some of those you have reviewed, but has similar functionality. I like it, but now I’ve seen the colours of the iCharge Eco I’m going to have to seriously think about one of those. Anyway, as long as people are using solar power wherever possible I’m happy!
