You will definitely remember during this year’s CES when Asus dropped an exciting bombshell featuring their latest creation the Eee HTPC Keyboard or Eee Keyboard PC. In a one line summary, it’s a pc inside a multimedia keyboard complete with wireless connectivity and of course that attractive but tiny 5-inch touchscreen display.
The wonderful news is that Asus have now revealed the pricetag which will be placed on this new fascinating gadget, CEO Jerry Shen says they’re working on two models to be released by summer time and these will range from $400 (£285/€317) – $600 (£428/€476). Prices like these will definitely be competitive against notebooks and netbooks, but I suppose the Eee Keyboard PC, once out will probably be in a market of its own! Check out the specs if you think you missed out on the Asus Eee Keyboard PC during the beginning of the year.

Awesome keyboard! Having said that, one can purchase a pretty decent PC or a small laptop quite easily for $600 (US that is). I do foresee that the pricing will come down in future, and am intrigued to see what offerings rival manufacturers are going to come up with. What’s next? A mouse with a built in LCD display?
Asus Eee is very convenient to carry. It is my walkaround laptop wherever i go. The battery life could have been better though
