Google Street View now lets you see photographs of city streets and their surroundings taken by Google cameras attached to vehicles that have been driving along major city streets in the US and other countries including Japan, Australia, and Spain – I don’t think UK yet guys, sorry!

  • Google Street View has just come off a lawsuit where a couple tried to sue them for breach of privacy. It seems not everybody likes the idea of having their quiet street displayed in this fashion. I suppose high security government addresses won't be viewable, but public roads are fair game!
  • This is a really great idea. I love street view as it is and allowing people to add pictures to it is really awesome. It's great to be able to actually view a really picture of a place you may be going to before you go there.
