Hope you’re having a good morning so far. If you’re a Google Android T-Mobile G1 user, then you’re about to have an even better morning! Not long ago, we showed you a video of multitouch on the G1, well now it could about to become reality for your G1. Because Gizmodo has over the weekend released an excellent guide on how you can (hack) enable multi touch web browsing on the G1, it doesn’t appear to be a difficult process and everything you need for this quick DIY will be available at the Gizmodo link below. Oh and by the way, it is free, just because I hate it when people try to exploit these guides and make it into one page websites charging people loads for it.

The new Google Earth 5.0 has been out for about a week or so now, but for those who have never tried to use it may still not be convinced why you should download it (for free firstly!), try it and have a play with it. The new and updated Google Earth is probably the biggest library of knowledge (and fun) any free software has ever been able to offer. Yes, indeed there is now a Google Earth Pro that costs 400 bucks, but that is hardly necessary considering the amount of information and fun factor you can already get from the free version.
Google Earth 5′s biggest new features include the other final frontier, the 20th century, and the Red Planet: Mars. You can now go back in time, look at shipwrecks, and even track tagged marine animals, I don’t think this has been something that any other free software has been able to offer.
Let’s see what Brian Tong from CNET Applebyte thinks of the latest news and rumors relating to Apple products. Brian talks about whether or not Apple could be releasing a brand spanking new iPhone soon based on some analytical sources over the web, also is a new iMac on the horizon?

It’s too early at this point to tell you about the new Amazon Kindle 2 press conference, but it is to be held later today (10am Eastern time). The Kindle 1.0 has been around for some time it is definitely due for an update. If you don’t know much about Amazon’s Kindle device, one line can basically sum up the purpose of this device. It’s a lightweight, wireless device built for reading books, newspapers electronically on a purposefully built black and white screen.
