We were sent the Sony BRAVIA DVD Home Theatre Cinema System DVA-IS50 last week. Thanks to Lucy for sending it to us so promptly. First impressions were great, it’s much bigger than we had expected and we were very excited to review it. Here are some of the pictures we have taken so far. We will be posting our thoughts regarding this DVD Home Theatre System soon.

This is another creative custom Lego PC mod. You may still remember some of the workable custom Lego gadgets we’ve featured in the past, such as the latest PC mod, Lego Mac Pro, Lego V8 engine, Lego Safe and Lego Playstation. What make this Lego PC special is the fact that the creators have added emotion and feeling into this piece of work (it’s art!). The Lego PC  has many tiny Lego figures surrounding it, actually a house or a lodge of some sort! And inside the actual model, representing a scene of a lively and friendly Lego town is the PC’s hardware. Computer hardware doesn’t feel cold afterall! More Pictures in this post and over at our gallery page.

There isn’t yet a netbook from Apple at the moment and as you will be able to recall on the post in which we wrote about netbooks which were capable of running Mac OS X, only the Dell Mini 9 and MSI Wind achieved full scores. That’s why there is now a proper guide released from Gizmodo showing you how you could install and run Mac OS X on your Dell Mini 9 and hackintosh it into a proper Mac netbook (or mini MacBook?). So before you get started, you will need to make sure you have the following.

Video: Pagani Zonda R on Monza track

On February 23, 2009, in Auto Tech, by Admin Staff

May be the Rolls Royce wasn’t the sort of car every one would dream about having during their beauty sleep so here’s another one for this morning. EVO Magazine managed to score some video of the new Pagani Zonda R on the track at Monza. The video is less than three minutes long and well worth it if you’re having trouble waking up this morning, but may I suggest that if you’re at work, switch off or turn down your speakers!

Wasn’t that amazing? It did appear to be abit unstable at first, maybe it was the wet surface. It just felt like a beast that needed the right driver to tame it! By the way, the Pagani Zonda R costs just $1.8M, isn’t that a good deal!?

Here are some pictures of the Zonda R:

Gallery: Rolls-Royce 200EX now official

On February 23, 2009, in Auto Tech, by Admin Staff

Rolls-Royce has released the official details and images of its new and upcoming 200EX. While Rolls-Royce has deemed the Geneva-bound 200EX a concept, expect almost every exterior and interior detail to carry over to the production model when it arrives in 2010. So what is the 200EX going to be like? Think of the best cues from the Phantom and Drophead Coupe and fit them into a decidedly smaller package then you get the 200EX.

Based off the latest BMW 7 series platform, the 200EX spans 212.6 inches long, 83 inches wide and 61 inches tall, with a wheelbase of 129.7 inches. A new air suspension system hides behind the seven-spoke, 20-inch wheels, with the front hoops wrapped in 255/45 tires and the rears coated in 285/40 rubber.

Video: Demo of Sony Ericsson Idou UI

On February 20, 2009, in Cell Phones, by Admin Staff

Sony Ericsson’s latest Idou was revealed this week at the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona. Probably the most appealing feature is that the Idou boasts a 12.1-megapixel camera, of course, this means SE is now further leading the market with their Cybershot technology equipped phones. But to me I think that is the only thing that I like about the Idou and nothing else. The video embedded below features how the new user interface works on the full touch screen flagship, the picture browser works exactly like the iPhone’s, which kind of puts me off as there is nothing new or creative about it.
