Check out some screenshots of the upcoming Mac Snow Leopard OS which has apparently been leaked onto the web today. The screenshots show a number of minor improvements. Stacks now allows nested browsing, so if you click on a folder in the stack view, the old stack drops back and you can navigate the folder contents. This should prove to be very useful as the old way just opened a new Finder window.

Video: Samsung i8910 Omnia HD hands on demo

On February 25, 2009, in Cell Phones, Technology, by Admin Staff

The Samsung i8910 Omnia HD which was revealed at the recent MWC 2009 in Barcelona is an improved version of the original Omnia smartphone. Its got a huge 3.7-inch AMOLED display, plays HD videos and should prove to be a strong competitor against other full touchscreen cameraphones in the upcoming months. As you can see there is no physical keypad and full touchscreen control interface totally proves its value on such a large display. It has a 8 megapixel camera with flash and powerful stereo speakers. It runs the latest Symbian S60v5 operating system.

So far Apple has avoided doing anything similar to this for the iPhone. This hack done by ubiq, allowed him to use Apple’s wireless keyboard to type in iPhone apps and texts and emails, etc. Making the Apple keyboard a fully functional keyboard for the iPhone and iPod Touch, users however still need to have their devices jailbroken first. Hopefully in the future, other non Apple wireless bluetooth keyboards may also be used which means those who don’t like to buy Apple’s products and accessories won’t need to as they can resort to third party ones!

Pictures: Latest LG solar phone concept from MWC

On February 23, 2009, in Cell Phones, Technology, by Admin Staff

Here are pictures of LG’s latest concept phone from the MWC last week, it is equipped with solar panels allowing it to help the environment by reducing the need to use non-renewable resources. When you think of technology and gadgets that harvest solar energy I tend to think of large chunky panels but in fact the concept phone below is quite the opposite.
