The LG GD900 Crystal which LG debuted at the GSMA World Congress, will be the world’s first phone with a transparent design handset. Not everything on the slider handset is transparent but the rear slider is translucent and the keypad gives off a brilliant glittering glow. Specs on technical details on the LG GD900 was limited, but LG will make sure to bring out the specs for review later this year.
Expect the LG GD900 clear handset phone to show up in stores sometime in the third quarter of 2009. When the phone gets opened, it will be sure to attract everyone’s attention, since a light will illuminate the transparent keyboard, watch the video below and see how it works.
According to the manufacturer, the device will not be just a fashion accessory (I’m sure that’s what you are thinking right now
), but will also incorporate high-tech features and will come with a bluetooth headset which will be just as impressive!

waow. . . . verry ferry great desain and style
Where can we purchase this phone online..any idea guys
its exclusive to carphone warehouse
Seriously, I would like a piece of that right away.. transparent keypad. Now I am thinking about transparent mobile phone.
Transparent keypad. Big effing deal. And so liek… what are the ADVANTAGES of such a keypad??? I’m trying to think of any but I just can’t. This is retarded.
If the whole phone was transparent and you can use the entire phone as a frame for taking pictures (being able to see through the whole thing)… THAT would be something.
But a stupid transparent keypad? wtf is with that???
its not the fact that the keypad has any advantages. the main reason for the phone is to make it more appealing because unlike you, some people have pride in the equipment they use and do not want to be carrying a piece of garbage.
Pride is it? Well… that’s no wonder I don’t carry a piece of garbage like this around. I have an iPhone 3GS. That’s form PLUS functionality~!
Well, looking at the spec on this phone, with the keypad being multifunctional with touch wheel, symbol, mouse and writing capabilities I would that’s pretty functional and new. Not a piece of garbage!
I think the iphone is the phone of this decade.
there no phone that can beat the iphone right now
