If the UK was as sunny as it is today on everyday then I believe this DIY would be ideal for Nintendo DS gamers. User dark sponge from Instructables, figured out a way in which after some wiring, some soldering of a few miniature solar panels you won’t ever need to recharge your NDS’ battery again. Yes, the NDS’ battery is pretty long lasting and can last up to hours on its own anyway, but wouldn’t it be cool if your NDS could be played while it was absorbing the essence of solar rays for power?

I’ve attached a widget after the break in which you’d be able to download the instructions for this DIY if you’re up for this mod.

    That looks brilliant.

I wish I was handy enough with electrics to be able to do that. I see all these videos and instructions on how to make solar panels power household electrical goods.

I really need to give this a try.
