I don’t know about you, but I’m not a huge fan of internet radio, I feel the radio we have at the moment satisfy all my needs. But I suppose the added advantage of having internet radio is you can listen to radio that’s not just in your own country or region but also internationally. We’ve seen a few geek-inspired gadgets hacked and connected to Twitter before but not one that is as detailed (and as useful?) as this.
Ryan designed this because he kept forgetting after he had placed his clothing into his washer, after this, his washing machine now twitters and so announces when it is done. It also has a sign in the house that displays its status to help him remember.
A keen tech savvy Japanese modder used the touchscreen kit for Eee and modified his ASUS Eee netbook into a fully working touchscreen tablet pc.
It took about 10 whole hours and $120 to complete but the finishing looks fab, only one problem though, this particular Eee is no longer as portable and convenient to carry as other typical Eee’s! It’s believed to be the world’s only pink iPhone 3G, it was just sold on ebay auction today for GBP 400. However, it’s uncertain whether it’s an OEM job or made to appear as if it’s OEM. This could be a good idea if Apple were to mass produce a wide range of colours for the iPhone, it will certainly attract more female users and possibly to boost sales.
